Hampton & Richmond Borough have signed Stan Flaherty after a stellar season for Kingstonian where he scored 16 goals and had 12 assists. 

Alan Julian has kept a very keen eye on Flaherty since really impressing on his first look.

Julian said “Stan is a player that a lot of people have been talking about. We went to watch him when one of our games got cancelled and he was clearly the best player on the pitch. We continued to keep a really close eye on him and we’re delighted that we've bought a player with his talents to the club. He’s got a great first touch, takes great set-pieces and has a real intelligence in the way he plays the game. As steps up to the National League South, he’ll have to work even harder on and off the ball, but I’m confident he can do that, and we’re excited to be working with him.”

On signing for the Beavers, Stan said “Hampton is a big club with a great fan base, so I was very  happy when I heard of their interest.  My subsequent conversations with Jules and Donovan were really positive and I believe their  attractive style of play should really suit me. I want to play foootball that’s enjoyable to be a part of and also excites the fans. I’m buzzing to get started and hopefully I can continue to get goals and assists, like I did last season.”
