STRIKER MAKES THE BEV HIS NEW HOME

STRIKER MAKES THE BEV HIS NEW HOME

Alan Julian has made a significant signing in the attacking department, with the addition of Swiss striker, Davide Rodari. The forward arrives after two extremely productive seasons with Hastings United where he scored 61 goals in all competitions.

Rodari was at the top of Alan Julian’s wishlist and the Beavers manager had this to say on the latest signing to be announced by the club.

Alan said “We’re absolutely delighted to get Davide to the club as he’s been on our radar for a while now. Looking back at last season, there were a number of times we missed having a centre forward. Davide was our first choice to fill that gap, so we’re really pleased to make it happen. He’s been great to deal with, he’s clearly got a lot of passion and emotion for the game and we’re all really looking forward to working with him. He’s ambitious, and hopefully he can produce the type of performances we believe he can, and if does, the fans will love him.”

Rodari expressed his delight in singing, saying “When I left Hastings at the end of the season, I was looking to get myself back into the National League South. Out of nowhere, Alan contacted me, and from the moment we spoke, I felt really excited about the project at Hampton. We quickly understood each other, and aligned with our ambitions, and I didn’t have to think twice before signing. I’m excited to show what I can bring into the team and aim to carry on with my scoring momentum from the past two years. It’s going to be an exciting season and I can’t wait to get started!”
