Hampton and Richmond Borough are delighted to announce the signing of experienced midfielder Rohan Ince, becoming the third player to be confirmed as part of Alan Julian’s new squad for the forthcoming season.
Most recently Rohan has been at Woking in the National League, making over 100 appearances and scoring 8 goals over four seasons. Ince started his career at Chelsea, before playing regularly for Brighton and Fulham in the Championship. Spells at Swindon, Bury and Cheltenham in the Football League followed. All that and a real impact in the division above means the 32 year-old comes to the Bev with a great pedigree.
Alan Julian has described the capture of Ince as “a huge signing for the club”.
Julian went on to say “Rohan is exactly the sort of player we need at this football club, someone who leads by example and recognises what needs to be said and how to say it. Rohan has been there and done it, so will bring real experience to the side. He’s strong, excellent on the ball and adds a real presence to the squad on and off the pitch. I’m delighted to get him here and can’t wait to work with him on a regular basis”
On signing for the Beavers, Ince added “I’ve played against him a couple of times as a player, and it was clear speaking to Alan that there’s excitement and positivity around what this club can do, and I want to be part of that. The club is local to me, and it just felt right. The fans can expect me to be really hard-working and comfortable on the ball. I can’t wait to get started.”
