Former Hampton & Richmond Club Secretary and Head of Media Louis Fell has now joined National League side Aldershot Town as Club Secretary.
Louis had been heavily involved with Hampton & Richmond in a variety of roles since 2021, starting as a matchday volunteer in the club's media team before moving into part-time and then full-time roles, taking over as Club Secretary.
"This club has always been fantastic to me." Louis told us. "From when I first started coming down to Beveree and volunteering I always felt at home here. I love football, but never for a moment did I imagine I would end up working for a football club."
He continued, "Because of all of the experience I've gained and things I've learned over the last few years as a result of my work here, I've now been able to earn an opportunity to move to a full-time professional National League side in Aldershot Town, and I cannot wait to get started. There are far too many people at Hampton & Richmond to thank, but I would like to give a special mention to James Reid for introducing me to the world of football media and getting me started, to Rob Overfield for showing me the ropes behind the microphone, to Paul Barker for always being a source of support, to Mark George for being an incredible teacher, to Rafa & Stefano Petruzzo for giving me my first job in football, to James Wood for being an incredibly talented Videographer and friend, to Thom Lang for being there throughout and finally to Will King for steering the club through an incredible year off the field."
"Hampton & Richmond will always mean a lot to me and will be one of the first teams I search the scores for on a Saturday. Best of luck to Alan Julian and his staff and players, they have something very special building and I can't wait to see where they take it!."
We would like to thank Louis for his dedication and hard-work over the last few years as a volunteer and staff member and wish him all the best in his future endeavors.
