Hampton & Richmond are back at Beveree Stadium this weekend as they take on Aveley FC with the hosts looking to make it four league wins in a row.
Aveley Football Club was formed in 1927 and won the Essex Junior Cup in back-to-back years of 1948 and 1949. In the 1951/52 season, they made their move to Mill Field. Throughout the 50’s and 60’s, they continued to progress up the divisions. In the 1970/71 season history was made for the Millers as they reached the first round of the FA Cup for the first time in their club history. In 1990 the side finished runners-up in the Isthmian League second division, and promotion from the Isthmian Division One finally came in 2009 when they were crowned champions. In 2017 the club made their move from Mill Field to their current ground Parkside Stadium. In the 2021/22 season, the Millers won the division and made their move up to the Isthmian Premier Division and then in the following season gained promotion to the National League South via the playoffs. Winning one-nil against Hornchurch thanks to a goal from Ryan Scott.
Last Time Out
Hampton & Richmond secured victory in the FA Trophy by two goals to nil in South Gloucestershire against Yate Town at the South West Interiors Stadium. An own goal by James Byrne and a goal for Mauro Vilhete got the Beavers the win. The last National League South fixture that Hampton & Richmond played ended in a massive victory for Alan Julian’s side as the team beat Hemel Hempstead by four goals to nil. Goals from Alfie Williams, Mauro Vilhete, and a double from James Roberts secured all three points for the team on the day.

The number nine will be looking to score in back-to-back league games for the second occasion this season.
