Defender Charlie Sayers is another addition to Alan Julian's squad after a successful trial. He will look to make an impact on both sides of the ball.

Regarding his new defender the gaffer said. "He came on trial and impressed immediately with the way he conducted himself, his decision making on the ball and the execution of those decisions was first class. He had interest from other clubs at our level so we had to fight for him and I am delighted to get him on board and I am hoping for a really good season."

Sayers added, "I am a ball-playing defender who likes to be aggressive and physical. I operate as a left centre-half but can also play left back.

"My aims and ambitions this season are simple. I want to play and win as many games as possible and have an enjoyable and successful."
