Spence to Bolster Forces in Between the Sticks

Alan Julian has added another goalkeeper to his squad. Youngster Max Spence has been brought in to add depth to the position and ultimately compete for a starting spot.

Regarding his arrival, the gaffer said, "Max is a young goalkeeper but he played a whole season of football last year and that will do him no harm whatsoever. Moving up the divisions now is another test for him but with the attributes he has me and the staff believe he can really kick on and improve over the season. He's good with the ball at his feet, he's also a good size but very sharp in and around his goal and very confident also. I am really pleased to have him with us this season."

Max echoed much of the same sentiment, stating "I am a very vocal and confident 'keeper for my age. In my personal opinion my best attributes are distribution and my athleticism which I use to my advantage when commanding my box and covering the whole frame of the goal. I will never shy away from a challenge and I hope to get as many minutes as possible to showcase what I am about and I hope to contribute to the team's success this season."
