The signings keep on coming through the gates of the Bev in the final hours of the preseason, as nineteen-year-old forward Danai Hassan joins the club after a successful trial.
Alan Julian had this to say about his new striker, "He came on trial and was so hungry to do well. He's a great lad, very humble and follows instructions to a tee. His youth and pace will be assets and I am very pleased to have him. I am hoping he can really develop this year."
In his owns words, Hassan is a "Rapid, explosive player. My main position is striker but I am comfortable playing on either wing when needed. I like to mix up my game. I can receive the ball to my feet and turn to create space, but I also like to use my pace to run onto through balls behind the defence. This versatility helps me contribute both goals and assists to the team.
When asked what his aims and ambitions are for the season ahead, he responded, "Being only nineteen, my main goal this season is to show how creative I can be in the final third. I want to make sure that every time I get the chance to be on the pitch, I'm effective and impactful for the team, whether that's by scoring, assisting, or helping us build our attacking play."
