The club is delighted to announce the signing of centre-back of Will De Havilland following his departure from Maidenhead United.

He served as club captain at York Road during the 25/26 campaign following Alan Massey's move to the Bev the season before. 

The 31-year-old started his career at Millwall and had spells at Sheffield Wednesday and Wycombe Wanderers In the Football League before joining Aldershot in the 2017/18 National League Season.

An initial loan and permanent transfer to Maidstone United followed the next season, with the centre back making 97 appearances during the next three seasons from 19/20 to 20/21 for both the Stones and Dover Athletic. 

De Havilland then joined the Magpies in the summer of 2021 and made 200 appearances in five seasons, scoring ten goals. 

Last season the centre-back was crucial to Maidenhead's playoff hopes, making 39 league appearances, scoring four goals and keeping eighteen clean sheets in the process, anchoring a side which boasted the best defensive record in the league.
