Midfielder Eddie Allsopp is the latest addition to Alan Julian’s squad for the 2025/26 season. The South African started his career at Charlton Athletic, before spells at non-league clubs in the South-East. Last season he was at Lewes and made 20 appearances and scored five goals.

On adding Eddie to the squad, gaffer Alan Julian said “So this summer we've brought in a number of players to the club that we identified months ago. Ever since we first saw Eddie we’ve liked him, he’s very skillful, and can play off both feet. One minute he’ll take a corner with his left foot and then five minutes later he’ll take one with his right. He’s also got lovely balance, and is a very good decision maker, so we’re hoping for lots of excitement and flair with him. I’m very confident he’ll be a great addition to the club”.

On signing for the Beavers, Allsopp said “I’ve been in a lot of contact with both Alan and Donovan, both made me feel a valuable part of what they want to do next season. Even during a period when I was injured last season, Donovan reached out to check on things. So I feel really valued by the club and now want to repay that trust on the pitch. As a player, I’m comfortable off both feet which gives me options on the ball, and I’m high energy when trying to get the ball back off the opponents. Speaking to Alan and Donovan these are the skills required to be successful here, and hopefully we can create some great moments this season.
