The club are delighted to announce midfielder Sam Deadfield has returned to the Bev for his third spell with the Beavers. Deadfield joined the club in 2019 and since then has made 143 appearances and scored 15 goals in two different periods in Hampton. In his most recent season with the club, Deadfield was also the Managers Player of the Season.

On bringing Deadfield back to the club, Alan Julian said “He needs no introduction. I’ve obviously been in the dressing room with him and know what a good footballer and good character he is. With the style of football we intend to play, Sam is the perfect fit. He can be a ball holding midfielder as a 4 or 6, or an 8 or 10 getting forward a bit more. He understands me, the way I work and just as importantly, understands the club and how special it is” 

Deadfield said “It’s a club where I’ve always felt at home, it’s surrounded with great people, so it was a no-brainer to come back. I’m really looking forward to working under Jules, his professionalism, love for the game and willingness to win is second to none. I’ve spoken to him about the clubs ambitions and the way it intends to go about things, and I think the style of football suits me perfectly - I can’t wait to get started.”
