The club is absolutely delighted to announce that Fan's Player of the Season in 25/26 Reece Grego-Cox has agreed to a new one year deal for the 2026/27 season.
The striker had a very successful season of the Bev, notching 11 goals in 37 appearances, but more impressively securing our Goal of the Season award for his wonder-goal against Dorking Wanderers in August.
He picked up every Goal of the Month Award we put on, and his goals were worth fourteen points, accounting for 26% of our total points.
Our number 39 gradually worked his way up to full fitness but ended up making the most appearances in any season in his professional career so far, with the second most coming in the 2019/20 season when he made 30 appearances for Woking across League Two and the FA Cup.
on staying in TW12, Grego-Cox told the club, "I felt like it was quite an easy choice to re-sign. Obviously with how well laat season went for me personally, with the amount of games I was able to play and the most important thing was the goals I scored to keep the club up."
The West London native also spoke on the importance of his family in his decision.
"[It was] the first time I've had my kids there watching me play and for me thats more important than anything, making sure they enjoy themselves. They're both ecstatic that I am staying at Hampton!"
The striker also made sure to mention the support from last season.
"The fans were really good to me, and the manager and the staff were really welcoming to me and my kids and my family...I am looking forward to staying and hopefully we can do better than we did last season!"
We all agree, it will be a welcome sight to watch our number 39 scoring all the time at the Bev once more!
Up the Beavers!
