Parkinson Crosses the River

Defender Ben Parkinson becomes the 10th player to commit to Alan Julian’s squad for the 2025/26 season. The youngster made 31 appearances for Kingstonian last season, and follows Stan Flaherty in progressing from the K’s to the Beavers.

Julian said this about Parkinson “I first noticed Ben playing when I went to watch Stan. That’s often the way with scouting, you go for one player and then you see another! Ben caught my eye and I kept my eye on him. He’s no stranger to men's football now, and is good on the ball, and a calm and composed defender for his age. He’s a really good kid, with a great family and he’s extremely dedicated to progressing in his career. We’re really looking forward to working with him on a regular basis”

On moving to the Beavers, Parkinson said “I am very excited to have the opportunity to join a fantastic club like Hampton & Richmond Borough. I’m really looking forward to testing myself and showing the manager, the players and the fans what I can do. I’ll be giving 100% to get the team and the club to where we want to go and I just can’t wait to get started.”
