The club is delighted to (finally) announce the signing of left back Harrison Sodje after a successful trial throughout most of preseason.
The 22-year-old spent last season on the South Coast with Dover Athletic, being a regular starter and featuring against the Beavers at Beveree.
The South London native spent his youth at Chelsea, Charlton Athletic and Leyton Orient, making his senior debut for the latter in the EFL Cup against Plymouth Argyle on the 8th of August 2023.
Whilst with the Orient he gained experience out on loan at a host of non-league clubs including Bishop’s Stortford in the National League North and Dartford in the National League South.
After leaving Leyton Orient following the expiry of his contract in April 2024, he signed with Cray Wanderers spending a season at Step 3 before returning to the National League South with Dover.
Sodje cited the attacking style of play that Dowse is building and the direction of the club going forward as the main reasons he was tempted to Hampton & Richmond Borough, and says the fans should expect a powerful fullback who thrives in one-on-one battles both with and without the ball.
