The club is delighted to announce the signing of 23-year-old winger Zanda Siziba for the 26/27 season.

Siziba, who will be well known to many of the Beveree faithful from a loan spell during the 24/25 season, is returning to HRBFC in a permanent capacity after spending last season in the National League North with Kidderminster Harriers and Bedford Town.

Siziba started his career in the Dagenham, Tottenham and Ipswich academies, making his professional debut against Gillingham in the EFL Trophy at 17.

In March 2023 he moved to Yeovil town before moving to York City, where he first joined the Beavers from in February 2025, going on to score three goals in thirteen league appearances, including the first of a memorable 5-0 drubbing against Welling United.

Upon returning Zanda told the club, “First of all the fans are incredible! Win, lose or draw they’ll always be by your side. It’s such a family club, everyone is so welcoming. I enjoyed my football a lot when I was last here despite joining at a difficult time.”

“That Welling game was particularly memorable, especially because I scored and assisted.”

Despite being fresh in the memory of Beavers fans, a year is a long time in football, and Siziba has developed as a player.

“Since I have been away, I have gotten older, I think I have developed some leadership on the pitch, I am trying to be more of a voice on the pitch and in the changing room.”
