Fadahunsi arrived in January 2024, initially on a 28-day loan from League Two Sutton United. Born and raised in Sutton, Tope spent time in the Watford youth system before returning to south London to play at Tooting & Mitcham United. A spell in Finland followed, where Tope won the 2nd Division title with FC Kemi. Tope studied Architectural Engineering & Design Management at Loughborough Uni, and whilst playing for their first XI won the University Europa League. Fadahunsi signed from hometown club Sutton in 2022, scoring on his EFL debut.
