Academy
Our academy offers an exceptional blend of football and academic education. Under the guidance of Academy Manager Steve Bates, who boasts over 20 years of coaching experience, and a team of UEFA-qualified coaches (Level 3 minimum), we help young individuals thrive both on and off the pitch.
Last academic year, five of our students graduated with top honors, earning three A*s or distinctions, amounting to 168 UCAS Points. They now attend prestigious universities such as Exeter, New York, St Mary’s, and Birmingham. Our courses equip students with essential professional and personal skills, fostering their development as young adults while enabling them to play football at a high standard.
Throughout the year, our students have the unique opportunity to train at St George’s Park, the home of England's National Teams. Our senior team also plays home games at Beveree Stadium.
Our football academy has produced notable successes. Imran Uche, a graduate, has become a regular first-team player for Eastbourne in the National League South. Zak Fraser-Grante, another standout, signed with Watford FC’s academy last season and recently secured his first professional contract with them. Zak also achieved the academic equivalent of three A*s.
