A combative midfielder, Odei joined the Beavers from Worthing in summer 2024, having made 25 appearances for the Rebels in 2023/24. Hailing from the Basque Country, Martin Sorondo initially played for his hometown side, Indartsu Club before moving to Real Union Club until 2018 when he moved to the UK. Starting out with Heybridge Swifts, Odei then signed for Concord Rangers for whom he reached the 2020 FA Trophy Final at Wembley. His performances with both Concord and Canvey Island earnt a move to Worthing, before then moving to the Bev ahead of the 2024/25 season.
