Initially hailing from Zagreb in Croatia, Luka moved to the UK when he was eight, and has spent a number of years with the AFC Wimbledon academy - his brother, Carlo, is still based in Croatia where he plays professionally for HNK Gorica. Whilst at Wimbledon, Ziger made friendly appearances for the first team, before departing the club in the summer of 2024. Now based in Epsom, the goalkeeper trained with the Beavers for the summer, signing in October and making his debut against Harrow Borough in November.
