Slough-based midfielder Hunt started his career with Wimbledon, featuring in the youth system for the Dons, Brentford, Southampton and Coventry City before making his first senior appearances on loan to CB Hounslow. Following that loan, George moved to Bournemouth, continuing with their U21 side before eventually moving to Slough Town. Hunt spent two seasons in the National League South with the Rebels, after which he signed at Gosport Borough in the Southern League. Hunt then signed for the Beavers in summer 2023, where he became a crucial component in the club's 17-match unbeaten league run - finishing the season with 24 appearances.
