Hillingdon-born Wishart signed for Hampton & Richmond in December 2022, arriving from Hayes & Yeading United where he also started his career. During 2015-16, Wishart was part of Sutton United's promotion campaign from National League South to the National League, before moving on to Forest Green Rovers. Another promotion success followed, winning the National League Play Off at Wembley, before making 32 appearances for FGR in their debut season in EFL League Two. After FGR, Dan also played for Sutton United, Maidstone United, Wealdstone and Hemel Hempstead Town.
