The club is delighted to announce the arrival of forward Nana Boateng and left-back Eduino Vaz from Sutton United on loans until the end of the season.
The 23-year-old defender Vaz joined the South London side in June 2024 from Aveley.
He was born in Guinea-Bissau, and started his career with Chelmsford City, making 50 appearances for the Clarets.
His performances earned him a move to League One Barnsley’s academy in January 2023.
After less than a year he returned to the National League South with Aveley in August 2023 and played 44 times in all competitions as a 20-year-old, scoring five goals and even providing an assist in the play-off eliminator round against Maidstone United.
So far this season he has featured seven times for the Us, providing an assist against Gateshead.
Regarding his new defender, manager Alan Dowson said, “He comes to us with experience at the level having played in important games”
Fans with a keen eye may remember Eduino from our preseason friendly against Sutton where he played all 90 minutes!

South London native Nana Boateng progressed through Milwall’s academy to start his career, and made the matchday squad for the first time on 29th December 2021. On January 8th 2022 he made his debut, coming on as a substitute in a 2-1 FA Cup loss against Crystal Palace.
In the 23/24 season he developed out on loan both at Woking and Solihull Moors, before joining Sutton United on a permanent deal in June 2024 following the expiration of his deal at Pride Park.
Most recently he spent a month out on loan at Hemel Hempstead, making five appearances.
Dowse added “Boateng brings us pace which I feel we’ve been lacking. He’ll bring a bit of trickery too in the wide areas.”
