A Quarter-Final place is on the line at Beveree this afternoon as Hampton & Richmond and Macclesfield FC look to take a big step forwards towards the arches of Wembley.
The Beavers experience their first home cup game of the season, after being away in all previous FA Cup and FA Trophy rounds, whilst Macclesfield make the four hour journey South.
Coming into this fixture, Mel Gwinnett's side have already knocked out two National League sides in Southend and Hartlepool, both via dramatic penalty shoot-outs'. In the Second Round proper, HamRich dispatched of Cray Valley PM 5-1 away from home.
The Silkmen arrive in TW12 after thumping Step 1 Dorking Wanderers 5-0 at home, having previously beaten Curzon Ashton, Alfreton Town, Halesowen Town and Hanley Town in a lengthy cup run. The visitors will be hoping to cause another upset to reach the quarter finals.
Hampton & Richmond's new signings Charlie O'Connell and Bayley Brown are both expected to be involved today, as well as Tope Fadahunsi and Sam Dreyer. Josh Anifowose is cup-tied having played a previous round for Dover Athletic.
Today will mark the first ever meeting between these teams, and we can't wait!
