The club are pleased to announce that midfielder Rohan Ince has signed a new deal for the 26/27 season.

The vastly experienced Ince was restricted to just seven appearances in all competitions last season after injury kept him out of action. 

Speaking to the club, Ince said, "Last season was a difficult one for me personally. I didn't play as much as I would have liked due to an ongoing injury, and watching from the sidelines was frustrating at times."

"During the off season I put a lot of work in behind the scenes with the help of Ryan [Augustine, S&C Coach] and others to get myself into the best possible shape. I feel like I've come back physically and mentally stronger and I'm really looking forward to the season ahead."

"My goal is to stay fit, play as many games as possible, help the team pick up as many points as we can, and to show the fans what I'm capable of."

After experience at most levels of the pyramid, Ince played four seasons at Woking, being brought in by Alan Dowson in July of 2021 and making 114 appearances in four seasons, scoring ten goals from midfield.

Ince added, "I'm looking forward to working with Dowse again. I really enjoyed my time playing under him at Woking. He's a manager who demands high energy and a strong work ethic from his players, but he also knows how to get the best out of them. One thing I really respect is his honesty, he'll always tell you exactly where you stand."

On renewing his contract, Dowse mentioned "Both him and the club will benefit from him playing as many matches as possible. He was excellent for me at Woking, and had bad luck last year and it was not his fault. He's fine medically, hasn't missed one training session and played every minute he should have this preseason, and I know what a good asset he'll be!"
