A strong first half and goals from Bunmi Babajide and Alex Wall saw Manager Alan Julian open his account with a win in pre-season.
The two separate XI's that lined up either side of half-time were too strong for Step 4 side Beaconsfield Town, who had lost their previous friendly 5-0 to Bedford Town.
Alan Julian kicked off the game with a mixture of signed players and trials, a trend that would continue in the second 45. The team to start contained Jordan Cheadle, Kristian Campbell, Jerry Wiltshire, Archy Taylor, Josh Keeya, Odei Sorondo, Bunmi Babajide and Josh Williams, as well as Goalkeeper Ted Curd.
The Beavers looked composed and moved the ball well for much of the first half, with Babajide and Williams holding the width and receiving a lot of the ball. The opener came from the former, who received the ball down the left, and chipped the onrushing Keeper.
The second was scored ten minutes later, a cross into the box caused chaos, and a trialist was able to turn home a rebound.
The second half introduced Billy French, Dom Revan, Alex Wall, Jake Gray, George Hunt, James Roberts, Gianni Crichlow and academy Goalkeeper Ollie Davies.
Whilst the Beavers didn't get as much joy, there was an air of control for much of the half, culminating with Roberts being taken down in the home penalty area, earning a spot kick which Alex Wall duly dispatched.
The Beavers now look forward to a trip to Hendon FC to play Ashford Town on Saturday.
