Hampton & Richmond host Aveley this afternoon at Beveree Stadium as both teams look to get back to winning ways.
With just two wins between them in their last ten games combined, the Beavers and the Millers will be chomping at the bit to stamp their authority on this game and send their fans home happy with three points.
Aveley are yet to pick up a win in February, with their last victory coming on January 23 against relegation candidates Eastbourne Borough. Since then, they have scored twice and conceded seven in games against Taunton, Worthing and Bromley in the FA Trophy.
The Beavers have run into a difficult spell too, with several injuries to key players, the hosts last win was on February 3, winning 2-1 against Truro to put a stop to a three game losing streak. Since then, they have drawn at home to St Albans and been knocked out of the FA Trophy by Macclesfield. A win for either side today would really kick-start the back-end of their campaign with the play-offs within touching distance.
Revenge is also in the air for Hampton & Richmond, as they'll be looking to make amends after being easily dispatched 3-0 by Aveley in the reverse fixture back in August. That result put the overall head to head record of these teams neck and neck. Each side winning 14, with six draws. The very first fixture between the two coming back in 1972 with a 0-0 draw in the old second division of the Isthmian League
