Local Lad Alfie Tuck Signs for the Beavers

Hampton youngster Alfie Tuck has joined the Beavers on loan from championship side Queens Park Rangers.

The 19-year-old midfielder has been with QPR since he was nine and spent the second half of last season out on loan at fellow Enterprise National League South outfit Farnborough. He made twelve league appearances, one of which was against the Beaver’s, after joining the Boro in February 2025.

He has also had experience with Enfield Town when he went on a short-term loan deal at the beginning of last season and also faced his new side!

Despite his young age he has extensive experience of the league and should feel right at home at the Bev.

Tuck has featured mostly for the youth sides at QPR and signed his first professional deal with the club in June of 2024.  He is also a youth international for Wales, making his international debut against England at U15 level in May of 2021.

Manager Alan Julian and his coaching staff are excited to have Tuck on board.

Speaking to the club, the gaffer said, “He’s a player that we’ve liked since he came on for Enfield against us last season. We were instantly impressed with him on the ball. We tried to bring him on board in the past to be honest, but it has never materialised until this time and we’re over the moon to bring him in. [He’s got a] beautiful left foot, lovely balance. He’s a local lad and is good friends with our former ‘keeper Ted Curd I believe.”

Everyone at Hampton and Richmond is delighted to have Alfie at the club, and you can make him feel welcome by cheering him on at our next home game. Get your tickets here.
