It's a busy week not just for the first team this week, and our U18s are playing for silverware on Thursday 26th March against Northwood FC U18s.
They have reached the final of the Jeff Ritson Middlesex Senior Youth Cup.
The Senior Youth Cup was formed in 2000 as a way of offering the senior clubs in the County an opportunity to play in a midweek based competition under floodlights. The cup was donated by former Middlesex FA President, Jeff Ritson, who the competition is now named after.
After receiving a bye into the second round the team has recorded some impressive results en route to the final.
2nd Round: HRBFC U18 7-1 PFC Victoria U18 H
Quarter Final: HRBFC 5-2 Uxbridge U18 A
Semi-Final: HRBFC vs Hanworth Villa U18 Elite A (walkover victory)
They face a Northwood side who have won the previous rounds by a combined score of nine to three and will represent formidable opponents, sitting above ourselves in first place in the Isthmian Youth League U18 - West Division.
When the two sides met earlier in the season, Northwood ran out 4-2 winners after the sides went into half-time at 1-1.
As well as a successful cup run, our IYL U18s have enjoyed a successful league campaign so far, winning eight of their twelve matches, sitting three points clear in second.
After Thursday's cup final, they have six games remaining, including two against Northwood.
Be sure to head down and support our young Beavers at Bedfont Sports Club, TW14 9QS this Thursday and for the rest of their remaining campaign as we enter the business end of the season!
Up The Beavers!
