Hampton & Richmond are delighted to announce the signing of Charlie O'Connell on a one-month loan from Peterborough United.

Starting as a member of West Ham's Youth setup, O'Connell joined Peterborough United's U18s in 2019. Playing through the ranks and graduating to the U21s before joining the Posh's first team. Throughout his time at Peterborough, Charlie has spent several loan spells at National League side Woking. The central midfielder joins up with Mel Gwinnett's side on an initial one month loan.

On the signing, Manager Mel Gwinnett said "He is a composed midfielder who has performed very well in the league above with Woking. So he can really add even more quality to our midfield."
