Hampton & Richmond Football Club are delighted to announce that Louis Fell has been appointed as Club Secretary. This appointment comes after Richard Parson’s decision to retire at the end of the season. Richard held the role for several years and is a hugely valued member of the Beaver family. Between now and the end of the season, Richard will assume the role of Deputy Secretary.
Louis, who becomes one of the youngest Secretaries in the National League, starts in his new role having been involved with the club since February 2022. Beginning as a media Volunteer, the 24-year old later became the club’s Marketing Manager, before moving into a full-time role this year. He now enters a hugely important position for the club as we continue to professionalise our operations on and off the field.
First Team Manager Mel Gwinnett said: “I’d like to start by thanking Richard for his dedication to the role and his assistance since I came in, his knowledge of the league is invaluable.” He continued, “I’m looking forward to working more closely with Louis, as we have done already in a media capacity. Club Secretary is a vital role and to have someone in on a full-time basis means we can communicate and orchestrate very quickly, perfect for such a fast paced environment.”
Ben Hudson, a member of the club's board, said "We wish to thank Richard for all of his time and dedication to the club, summed up by the professional manner in which he has given the clubs six months notice to ensure a fluid handover to Louis moving forwards."
Both Richard and Louis have written pieces in our Match Programme for our NYD game against Slough Town, so make sure to pick up a copy in the club shop. Match Tickets can be purchased BY CLICKING HERE.
Welcome Louis!
