Hampton & Richmond Borough FC are delighted to confirm the appointment of Alan Dowson as our new First-Team Manager, marking his return to the Beveree.
Dowson previously led the club during a highly successful spell, winning promotion, guiding the Beavers to one of our highest National League South finishes in recent history and earning widespread admiration from supporters, players, and staff. His passion for the club, his commitment to developing young talent, and his strong connection with the fanbase made him a standout candidate for the role.
Chairman Ben Hudson said: “Alan knows exactly what this club stands for. His experience, leadership, and familiarity with Hampton & Richmond Borough FC make him the ideal person to take us forward. We’re excited to begin this next chapter together.”
Dowson spoke of his return, adding: “I’ve always had a special connection with this club and the people around it. I can’t wait to get back to work, reconnect with the supporters, and build a team that everyone associated with Hampton & Richmond Borough can be proud of.”
