A few minutes before the quarter of an hour mark, The Beavers took the lead, after Dan Wishart drove his way towards the byline. The fullback then fizzed the ball into the box, where Tope Fadahunsi was waiting to score his first goal of the season for the club.
Oliver Bray came on and made an instant impact for his new club. A ball into the penalty area found the Aldershot Town loanee, and he slotted the ball past Adam Desbois and into the goal.
Hampton & Richmond was reduced to ten players after Ruaridh Donaldson kicked a player rather than the ball leaving his side with one less player on the field.
Truro City almost took the lead, when a corner flew towards the back post, but Adam Desbois pulled off a great save to prevent the away side.
Despite being down a man Hampton & Richmond pulled back in front, with a lovely cross from Dominic Revan was nodded in by Isaac Pitblado.
This result means that, Hampton & Richmond climb to fifth in the table, while Truro City remain nineteenth. The Beavers will host St Albans on Tuesday, while Truro City shall travel to play against Taunton Town.
