Dewhurst joined HRBFC on a loan until the end of the season in February 2026. The Hull native came through the ranks at Sheffield United and has bags of experience in non-league football despite his age. He initially went out on loan in 2018 to then-National League North side Guisley AFC, making 41 league appearances in two seasons for the side as a teenager.His next significant loan was to National League side Scunthorpe United in the 22/23 season, which earned him a permanent move from the Blades to Wealdstone ahead of the 2023/24 National League season.After 27 league appearances he made the move to Aldershot in the 24/25 season where he made 45 appearances in all competitions for the Shots. Most recently he has made 20 appearances this season, keeping four clean sheets.
